Catalyzing a specific type of church for a specific type of moment

The Mosaic Collective

To catalyze justice oriented-Jesus centered churches, led by emotionally healthy women and global majority leaders around the world.

Why The Mosaic Collective?

Most assessment tools, coaching models, and resourcing centers in the church world today were not built in a vacuum. They were built, often decades ago, often with good intentions, around a fairly specific set of goals, expectations, and funding streams: the goals of large, white evangelical churches, and the leadership profile of the white evangelical men who typically led them. We don't say that as an accusation. Those systems produced real fruit for the context they were built in, and plenty of the people who built them were faithful, capable leaders doing their best with the tools they had.

But the landscape has changed, and the tools have often not kept up.

We live in a rapidly diversifying country, one where the future of the American church doesn't look like its past. It's a future led by women who've been sidelined by systems that never made room for them. It's a future led by Black, Brown, Asian, and Indigenous leaders — global majority leaders — who've spent years trying to fit their calling into models never built with them in mind. It's a future that needs new wineskins, not because the old ones were evil, but because they were never designed to hold what's coming.

That's the gap the Mosaic Collective exists to close.

We are a growing network of leaders, churches, and practitioners who share a conviction that the justice of Jesus is not a side issue in a polarized moment, but the actual center of the gospel we're called to embody. We believe the church can be both deeply orthodox and deeply just. Both rooted in Scripture and relentlessly committed to the flourishing of the people history has too often overlooked. We don't think those are in tension. We think that tension is a false one, built by systems that benefited from keeping them separated.

So our vision is simple to say and hard to do: to catalyze justice-oriented, Jesus-centered churches, led by emotionally healthy women and global majority leaders, around the world.

That means we build assessment tools that don't assume a leader has to look, sound, or lead like the last generation of pastors to be considered "ready." It means our coaching relationships are built to form leaders who are not just strategically sharp, but emotionally whole, because a church cannot be healthier than the leader standing in front of it. And it means our resourcing isn't funneled toward the churches that already have the easiest access to capital and platform, but toward the leaders and congregations who are doing faithful, justice-shaped work in places the traditional pipeline never thought to look.

We're not interested in tearing down what came before us. We're interested in building what comes next, a church as diverse, as just, and as alive as the Jesus we're trying to follow.
